im finally back after a long hiatus
schools been hectic
with so many events and all
so its draining
im used to de journey and travelling already
so maybe thats a good thing

social work is doable
i like cultural studies
its about pop culture and all

ryan bishop mentioned that hmv actually stands for his masters voice
and that de dog is actually sitting on a shiny surface which is actually his dead masters coffin
and he is listening to de gramaphone to his masters voice
shows that music archival allows voices that would never be heard again move across generations
ok maybe i was just slow but it was a good lecture
he also compared stevie wonder's pastime paradise and gangsta paradise by coolie
both have de same tune by radically different contexts
so is de shirelles baby its you which was later taken over by de beatles

but i dont like de last one. it woke me up from my sleep during lecture.
